Watercolor Fabric

What I've been working on in the world of watercolor... Fabric.  The first one (which I kinda like) was done in class, and the second (which I kinda don't like) was done at home.  The at home assignment featured fabric, sitting on a marble table top, with a woodgrain background.  All required.

Self Portrait Project Continued...

Our most recent photo project was to go off of one of our self portrait ideas and make 3 more prints... I decided to go off of my Explorer/Gorilla idea.  The first image is my original self portrait, and the second is the first print of the next project that I brought to my teacher... he then explained to me how to split filter, a process that takes advantage of both layers of emulsion on the photo paper... the following 3 images are split filtered.

Marble Floor

Our most recent assignment in watercolor was to mimic stone patterns and design a marble floor... here was mine, I'm not 100% satisfied with most areas actually, but I do like the green patch on the right... that was the last area I painted, and about the time I started figuring out the "trick"
