A handful of more sketches... some more recent than others. 

Sock Puppet Wrapped in Bacon.

It may seem a little odd to some, but I do enjoy making weird little things like this every now and then, this is a sock puppet cow.... obviously wrapped in bacon.  

As everyone knows, you can wrap ANYTHING in bacon and make it just that much better... and that goes double for a fine cut of steak.  I suggest you go to any Brazilian Churrascaria and sample all of their bacon wrapped products, you won't be disappointed.  Until then, enjoy this tastey bovine. ...

The busy times...

All of these drawings were done when either when the stand was SLAMMED! or when I wanted to go home... but I kinda liked them, so here you go! sorry about the blurriness on a couple of them. 

First Oil Painting

As I said a couple posts back, I am currently taking my first painting class at Kennesaw, and here is my first painting from that class.  This ws done over the span of two class periods, one with the still life set up, and the second without.  so I had to go from memory on a lot of the finishing details.  All you people that really know what you're doing when it comes to painting, let me know what you think!

These girls were definitely interesting...

I liked the colors, and the airbrushing on this one... especially on the lady

This kid quoted Monty Python for the whole 5 - 10 minutes I was drawing him... he also enjoys money, and had a hard time handing over the $19 for the drawing... thats why he paid beforehand.

Airbrushed T-Shirts?!

On some slow non-eventful days in the park, I have been working on learning to do airbrushed T-shirts.  Me knowing how to airbrush already has helped out some, here are a couple of things i've done... all freehand designs, no stencils...

Back to School...

Well, school starts back up tomorrow for me, and I am taking my first painting class.  That should be interesting.  I haven't really done anything in the realm of painting before, but I am definitely looking forward to it.  I have only followed two paintings to completion, and I have lost the image of the second one I did, so I am going to share with you the only painting record I have...

No laughing allowed, I did this I think like 5 or 6 years ago...

I look forward to sharing more (hopefully more successful) paintings with you shortly.

Black n' whites

Here are a couple drawings in black and white, I've been trying some new things, hoping that my black and whites look like a more "finished" after I'm done with them... Not quite sure about how I feel on some of the experiments.  I really took these pictures for myself, but I figure I could share them too.

More....

I've really been out of it for a couple weeks now.  Not really pushing a whole lot of anything.  Maybe when we go back to weekends, I'll be more into my drawings, but until then. here are a couple of drawings that turned out pretty close to how I envisioned them. - Kinda just posting these for the sake of posting at the moment.  Hopefully I have better stuff to share soon.

Bowling Sketches

Some people sketch in coffee houses and what not, well, recently, I did a little sketching in a bowling alley between frames.  I was trying something new, with a specific goal in mind, using line and simple shapes to capture a likeness.  The two yellow ones were completed in about a minute or two in the bowling alley...

...and hopefully you can recognize these two.  They were done using prismacolor fine line markers in a sketchbook, maybe 10 minutes each. 

This is really just an experiment, but please let me know what you think.
