Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! To celebrate, here are some images of the fantastic decorations that come out every fall at Six Flags over Georgia, enjoy!

Skeleton sitting on the john...

Pantyhose "cobwebs"

A lost ghoul in the middle of the day...

And if interested, this exact costume can be found at your local party city for a low low price of $29.99

Not from the fall, but I though they were cool pictures... This is the view from our USA location.

Doesn't need an introduction...

Still in the park... the end is near!

We only have one more weekend left!  This year has FLOWN by!

I REALLY wish you could see these two ladies, I really like how the front one came out... stupid Georgia sun...

This was a REALLY quick one at the end of the night, but for some reason I liked it at the moment.
There parents told them they could get up before I was done...

John Deere and UGA hats seem to be popular this time of year.

He had this wierd clenched jaw looking thing, or he was chewing dip.

She had a unique smile, wish she would have smiled for the picture.

The guy on the left was previously drawn by another artist at the park... he was very surprised by the way this one came out... "I haven't seen any of your other drawings, but I'm sure this is one of your best"

Enjoy!

Painting I Still Lifes

Well, I finished these a week or so ago and I guess its about time to post them.  To all those who actually know what they are doing with oils, let me know what you think.  I've only been working in this media for about 2 months now.  It's not as easy as I thought it would be.  Enough rambling... on with the paintings!
This one was my in class still life.  We worked on it for 3 classes in monochormatic, and 3 with color.  I'm not really a fan of how it turned out, I have a hard time bringing my paintings into a higher realization.

This one is my at home still life, Worked on it for 2-3 weeks on and off, 10-15 hours maybe?  Thats all a guess.  I'm somewhat satisfied with this one.  Opinions?

Thanks!

Apologies for the poor photo quality.  It's hard when they are of such large size, and without a good imaging program.

Last weekend...

Here are a couple couples from last weekend...

Nothing completely special here, I just really liked how it came out... I was satisfied with the  likenesses, and how it all worked together.

She told me that he had "unique" features... and should be easy to draw.  She also told me he looks like Tom Hanks... I saw it a little bit.

Boring Drawing... but they just sat there, expressionless.  Goofy none the less?

This one was fun.  Although I wish the guy turned out funnier.  I wonder how they'll frame it??

Enjoy!

That 80's show

A couple weeks back, Chi and I participated in a show in downtown Atlanta with an 80's theme.  The show was pretty short notice, so I didn't get a whole lot of time to put together a whole lot of 80's themed works, but I messed around with a couple faces, and here are a few from the show.

12x16 Airbrush and Graphite

Hulk Hogan started off as a time killer at the park, to fight off boredom, but I liked where it was going, and decided to finish it.  Completed 2-3 days after the show, so he wasn't a part of my display... but 80's none the less...

11x14, Copic Markers.

The following images are larger caricatures that I had done a few years back (mostly end 2005 - 2006), and it just seemed appropriate to pull out a couple of them to fill out the wall space a little better.  I realize that for the most part, these guys have nothing to do with the 80's  but I don't believe I've ever shared them on the blog, and now would be as good a time as any to put them up.

Designing T-shirts...

Halloween is around the corner, and the T-shirt people were looking for new halloween designs, I came up with this couples design. Allen painted it, I just drew it up...
