yea... I lied (or forgot)

Remember how I said I didn't have anymore park sketches to share?  Well, I found a couple more from the last weekend of the season... actually from the very last day, it was a slow day... I think this was all that I did all day... so you can see why I may have wanted to forget about it....

Cash control peeps..
.

More cash control peeps.... loved the dynamics in size with these two..
.
My brother...

Last drawing of the season... came about 15 minutes before closing... yay for 4 people color?!

I'm pretty sure this is all she wrote for the 2008 season...

Chris! Man have I missed out on a lot of postings! Sorry, so let me give you one gigantic bulk of a comment.

The copic illustrations are sweet as always. I'm so happy you did Kramer, that's my boyyyyyyyy!

The oil painting figure drawings are sweet. Like seriously. The weird thing is, I think your paintings from the November 2nd posting is stronger than the ones from your November 28. Is that weird or is it just me? It might be just me. Its just the older ones seem to have more movement and life, a good balance and use of implied lines and forms. The colors in both are great though! Bottom line, they're really nice!

That's about it. I miss working and making money.

Chris, what paper do y'all use?

You placement of the faces is really good.

I meant what SIZE paper do y'all use?

Frank - We use 12 x 16 paper, probably the same size you guys use right?

Thanks Chi! I am with you 100% on your opinion about the oil figures..I hated the newest batch. I feel like there should have been some improvement... but no. My professor wanted me to focus on using bold colors to start off with and move towards local... no go for me. I like the other way better... I feel it works for me, but what do I know :/ anyways, Thanks Chi! there will be LOTS more posts in the near future, expect one a day or so for the next week or so... they are building up! :D

That's the same size alright. Maybe I'm drawing the heads too big. My placement isn't anywhere near as good. Something to shoot for!

I was looking through your drawings, and perhaps it would help to continue the drawing to the bottom of the page, so you don't have a floating head/bust... It helps to finish off the drawing a little better...

Could possibly give the illusion of better placement?
